I had a lot of plans…
… plans for “us”. Dreams for it really. I could see us adventuring, learning new things, teaching you to fly a kite, watching another beach sunset … But I guess that’s the funny thing about dreams vs. reality. Sometimes things don’t play out exactly the way you thought of in your head. Little things get in the way. Reality gets in the way. You start to think about important topics and realize it just wasn’t right. And that maybe, all we were meant to have, was summer.

I’m sorry I’m not f-ing perfect.
You knew I wasn’t, you knew what you were getting into. Maybe we just got ourselves into a huge mess. You deserve someone better than me who appreciates every little quirk you have and I need someone who can deal with my shit. Yeah, I’m messed up. I have issues. Work drives me crazy. I am freaked out and really don’t know where I’m going with my life which makes me a bit on edge. You shouldn’t be unhappy 99% of the time like I feel like you are with me and light up excited and happy every time you talk to any of your friends or to her. I know real life isn’t a fairy tale, but I’m pretty sure this isn’t how it’s supposed to go either.
